St. Francis Medical Center has a partnership with two local independent practice associations (IPAs): Applecare Medical Group and Omnicare Medical Group.

These groups contract with more than 200 primary care physicians and over 250 specialists all located in private practices within the Southeast Los Angeles Community. Both groups accept most insurance plans including HMO, POS, Senior Health Plans, Medi-Cal and the Healthy Families program.
