When you are in labor and arrive at the hospital go directly to the Family Life Center any time day or night. Our experienced staff will take charge of your delivery with the utmost care and attention. If you need to call the Family Life Center the phone number is 310-900-2050.

    Remember to relax — if you have already pre-registered your admission will be quick and easy.

    Admission after 8 p.m.

    If you arrive after 8 p.m., you still go to the Family Life Center but there are some special procedures you need to follow:

    Go to the front of the Family Life Center and press the doorbell located next to the double doors on the right.

    Security will greet you and direct you to the 2nd floor where you will be admitted.

    Our Family Life Center

    The Family Life Center is a state-of-the-art facility designed to provide maternity care in a comprehensive, secure and comforting environment. The Family Life Center combines the comforts of home with the advantages of a modern medical center, and provides:

    A private room with your own bathroom and shower and comes equipped with a television, VCR, and telephone.
    An extra bed for a visitor to stay with you.
    Education channels with programs on a variety of topics related to maternity and infant care showing 24-hours a day.

    Our Staff

    During your stay at the Family Life Center, a "family" of dedicated and experienced nurses and doctors will care for you and your baby. They will help you through labor, pain management, delivery, postpartum care, and any high-risk complications that may occur. Our goal is for you and your baby to feel safe and comfortable.

    Visiting Hours

    Visiting HoursVisiting hours at the Family Life Center are flexible and we welcome visitors. Family members and friends may visit you and your new baby as long as they have no signs of illness. In addition, there is room for Dad, a relative or a friend to stay the night. At times it may be necessary to limit visitors.
