Injury Prevention and Applied Ergonomics
Accidents aren't planned, but you can plan for safety. Our Occupational Health Team is prepared to assess the safety of the work environment and work with the employer to implement a custom tailored Injury Prevention Program. To help optimize worker well-being and productivity, we analyze specific job tasks, identify potential hazards or stressors, and submit recommendations to management. And, upon request, we'll also develop programs on preventative medicine, wellness and other topics important to employee health and productivity.
OSHA Reviews
St. Francis Medical Center Occupational Health Services has a working knowledge of OSHA regulations applicable to medically related issues, and will work with the employer to prepare for reviews and to ensure facility compliance. For example, we have assisted clients with reviewing and analyzing infection control procedures and made recommendations regarding the control of blood borne pathogens.

In addition, to complete tracking of individual injuries, we can provide ongoing tracking of total injuries and analyze trends that have an impact on business. When special research is required, we work with the employer to develop a plan to compile the needed information.
