SFMC was recognized by the Premiere Hospital Quality Incentive Project for achieving top quality of care scores in two important areas: acute myocardial infarction (AMI or heart attack) and coronary artery bypass graft (CABG).
In fact, according to the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), sponsors of the national project, our quality care scores went from 87 percent to 91 percent for patients who had suffered a heart attack, and from 85 percent to 90 percent for patients requiring a CABG.
Congratulations to the quality team of physicians, clinicians, and staff who worked together to achieve this success!
